Regular Season Round 8: DBaK - Zabiny Brno B 58-70

There was a minor upset in Plzen where one of their biggest challengers DBaK (4-4) was defeated by sixth ranked Zabiny Brno B (4-4) 70-58 on Sunday. Zabiny Brno B dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to DBaK's 26. Zabiny Brno B forced 21 DBaK turnovers and outrebounded them 46-34 including 18 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Marie Hamzova who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and Katerina Kalna who added 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Anna Rosecka responded with 20 points and 7 rebounds and Anna Belacova scored 6 points and 7 rebounds. Zabiny Brno B moved-up to fourth place, which they share with DBaK and Sadska. Zabiny Brno B will meet at home Sadska (#5) in the next round. DBaK will play against USK Praha B and hope to secure a win.
